Located in Barcelona and specialized in the training of high performance classical ballet.

Inaugurated in 2012 by the Corella siblings and under the direction of the first dancers Carmen Corella and Dayron Vera, the project has a curriculum with its own degree program and end-of-degree certificate.

Unifying their artistic trajectory, Corella Barcelona focuses their integral training recognizing their methodology as Spanish, Cuban and American and culminating their philosophy with the brilliance that characterizes Spanish art.

Training

Vocational training with own qualification

Corella Barcelona is a personalized project specialized in high performance classical ballet training for a group of 40 boarding students, located in a private complex in the province of Barcelona.

The intention is to project a central point of reference for dance and culture, a safe space where a continuous exchange of technique and knowledge is generated and where the talent of dancers from all over the world converge, under an artisanal development.

Our curriculum recognizes its methodology as Spanish, Cuban and American and culminates its philosophy with the brilliance that characterizes Spanish art.

It allows students to integrate and share the daily routines of practice and Housing, being the best way to experience the project, outside the curriculum.

Experience the richness of dance classes and workshops in all its disciplines.

Workshop

Workshops that enrich the training of students in the curriculum, with practical experiences and innovative approaches.

visas

For students whose nationality requires the processing of a student visa to study in Corella for the year program, we work with an immigration firm that provides the legal guidance.

Housing

Corella Barcelona is located in an idyllic setting in the middle of nature at the foot of the Montseny Natural Park.

Students have comfortable and quiet study areas in Housing exclusively for that use with wifi connection. We collaborate with the international schools ISCAT (British System) and AESA (American System).

Our menus are based on a Mediterranean diet rich in vegetables, whole grains, legumes, meat, fish, olive oil and each dish is prepared daily in Housing.

It is crucial to create a safe space where they can express themselves without fear of judgment. Actively listening and validating their emotions allows them to feel understood and supported, which is crucial for their emotional development.

Physical preparation for a dancer is essential to improve performance, avoid injury and sustain a long-lasting career. Dance requires strength, flexibility, endurance and control, so balanced training that includes several aspects is crucial.

It is a great privilege to have uniforms with our own designs and tailoring, and professional artistic costumes which allows a unique creative freedom, accurately reflecting our vision.

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."
